Operations handbook
How do I gain operational access?
Register and verify your email, then submit your display name and Roblox username. Your account remains pending until the platform Owner approves it. Email verification alone is not operational approval.
Are the aircraft on the radar live?
Only an authorised, tested telemetry provider can supply live aircraft. Demo traffic is labelled DEMO DATA. No live PTFS feed is configured by default.
Does PGAN identify Roblox players automatically?
Only if the authorised feed supplies pilot or spawner identities. They are separate fields. Manually entered identities remain unverified; unavailable fields are never inferred.
How do I file and fly a route?
Create a plan in Flight Planner. Flight Hosts publish official flights; pilots register their aircraft in Flight Registry. After ATC verification, follow the 14 stages in Flight Clearances: request, ATC decision, pilot report, ATC confirmation. Only ATC can record justified stage exceptions. Planning, pilot checklists and telemetry never grant clearance.
What happens when the feed stops?
Observation timestamps determine freshness. After 45 seconds without a fresh observation, data is labelled STALE DATA. Stale aircraft positions must not be treated as current.
Can moderators issue clearances?
No. Moderation and ATC are separate permissions. Only approved ATC, Supervisor and Owner accounts can issue clearances.
How is the Owner established?
The platform identifies the app Owner on the server. First registration, email text, local preferences and signup form selections never establish Owner privileges.
How do I monitor and hand over control?
ATC uses Traffic Monitoring for departure queues, assignment workload and evidence-based advisories. Assign or hand over a controller from a flight's clearance workflow and record handover notes. Supervisors configure tolerances. No feed means no fabricated positional alerts.
How are incidents and history retained?
Moderators, Supervisors and the Owner manage restricted cases, reviewers, evidence, investigation notes and outcomes. Flight History searches permitted events and offers page exports; the Owner can export private backup collections. Closure and cancellation retain evidence. No automated deletion or guaranteed backup restoration is claimed.
What is needed before operational deployment?
The existing secure server-private, transactional storage adapter must be supplied and verified by the host. Shared visitor-writable storage cannot safely store approvals or private moderation records. An authorised PTFS feed with its permission and schema is also required for live monitoring. Until these are connected, operational calls fail closed rather than report invented success.
Is this suitable for real aviation?
No. PGAN is a Roblox PTFS community operations workspace. The schematic chart, route planner and aircraft labels must not be used for real-world navigation or air traffic control.
